Vacancies | Academy Coaches & Physiotherapists/Sports Therapists
We have some new exciting and rewarding opportunities to work within our Academy as a Part-Time Academy Coach or Physiotherapist.
Coaches
The successful candidates will contribute to the development and progression of players in our academy through overseeing training and matches. The main responsibilities are to plan, oversee and review training sessions and coach your team on matchdays. Our teams have access to a state-of-the-art learning studio for reviewing / analysing training and games with access to footage of these. They also work with our 1st team Sports Science department and use 1st team facilities.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
Essential
- UEFA ‘A’ ‘B’ ‘C’ Licence, SFA Advanced Children’s Licence or SFA Children’s Award
- First Aid Qualification
- Good communication & interpersonal skills
- Organisational and administrational skills
- Ability to work within a team effectively and efficiently
- Enthusiasm towards the role and its requirements
Desirable
- Knowledge of the local area and players / teams
- In date Safeguarding Certificate
- Experience working within Academy Football
Physios / Sports Therapists
The successful candidates will provide physiotherapy and pitch side cover on matchdays for Academy teams with the possibility of working with the reserve squad and 1st team players at reserve games. They will also run clinics through the week that injured players can attend for pre/rehab and liaise with the Academy Sports Science department regarding player recovery and strength and conditioning.
Key Skills and Experience Required:
Essential
- Physiotherapy degree or equivalent and/or relevant Sports Therapist qualification
- HPC Registered
- Valid National Sports First Aid Certificate or equivalent
- Experience of working within the relevant age groups.
- Strong communication skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Committed to working evenings and weekends including training sessions, fixtures and in-service training.
- Full driving licence and access to a car.
- PVG check to be completed before appointment.
- Eligible to work in the UK.
Desirable

- In date Safeguarding Certificate
- Experience working within Academy Football
HOURS OF WORK: Evenings & Weekends
SALARY: Competitive.
