Welcome Mark McGinty – our new Supporters Liaison Officer
Livingston FC is pleased to announce the appointment of our new Supporters Liaison Officer (SLO), Mark McGinty.
After opening applications for the role of SLO last month, the club was inundated with responses with lots of people showing a keen interest to get involved with the roles and help support the club.
Following a thorough analysis of CVs and interview process, we’re delighted to welcome Mark to the club, joining DAO Colin Williamson in our fans support team.
Mark will be available to contact by email on SLO@livingstonfc.co.uk and will also take over the running of our dedicated SLO page on X (formerly Twitter) under @LiviFC_SLO
Club Secretary Tricia McKenna said: “I’m incredibly pleased that Mark has accepted the offer to come on board as our new SLO.
“During the interview process, in which we met some fantastic candidates, Mark’s want and willingness to give back to the club whilst showing a real understanding of what the role entails stood out and really made the decision easy for myself and Dave.
“His previous interactions with the club as a fan and representative of the supporters football teams also meant he has a great understanding of being on the supporters side of things and it was very clear from meeting him that he has a real passion to take this role on and get the best out of it for our fanbase.
“I look forward to working with him going forward.”
On his appointment, Mark said: “I’m delighted to both be offered and accept the role of Supporter Liaison Officer.
“I’ve followed Livingston for many years having played for both supporters teams (FC Livingston GS and Olympique Lion). In that time we were embraced by Livingston FC and the staff which has, in part, shaped my desire to give back to the club by supporting them by being a visible and consistent point of contact for the fans (individual and groups), to help enhance their relationship with the club and their matchday experience, both home and away.
“I’m excited to get started, meet more of the fans and hear their feedback in order to help make the Tony Macaroni Arena a place we all love coming – regardless of the score!”
Welcome to the club, Mark!
