West Lothian Council has launched its annual Festive Essentials campaign in partnership with West Lothian Foodbank – and we’re delighted to be an official drop off point this year.

The Advice Shop are supporting West Lothian Foodbank by making up gift bags of toiletries to be distributed to low income households this Christmas. You can help by donating items from the below list –

• Deodorants
• Toothpaste and Toothbrushes
• Shaving Foam
• Shampoo & Conditioner
• Shower Gel and Soap
• Gift Sets
• Face Cloths & Sponges
• Gift Bags

You can hand your donations in to club reception on home match days or during our club reception opening times –

Monday-Thursday: 9am-4pm
Friday: 9am-1pm

Donations should be made by Wednesday 26th November.

A West Lothian Council spokesperson said: “West Lothian Council is continuing to work with community planning partners to support the incredible efforts of all involved in the West Lothian Food Network who are working tirelessly to ensure the most vulnerable in our communities have access to essential items this winter.

“If you have anything at home that you think could be of use to the Festive Essentials campaign then please take it along to one of the many locations which are accepting donations.”
