Livingston U20 4-1 Alloa Athletic U20
Livi’s Development side made it 2 wins from 3 this evening as they overpowered Alloa’s young Wasps on the Stadium FieldTurf.
Alloa took the lead midway through the first half when John Cunnigham got the final touch in a goalmouth scramble. But the lead was short lived as Lewis Allan drove home the leveller from the edge of the penalty area 3 minutes later.
Livi kept up the pressure, and just as the ref was set to blow for half time Dale Carrick found the net courtesy of the post to nose the Lions ahead going into the break.
Dale Carrick was then replaced by Ryan Day and within 7 minutes of coming on he drilled Livi into a 2 goal lead with a low shot into the corner. Kyle Sampson was also just minutes off the bench when his low drive defeated Wasps keeper Wilson to complete the evening’s scoring.
