Livingston FC are delighted to secure the signature of striker Dylan Mackin from Motherwell FC on a 2 year deal.
Manager David Hopkin said “I’m delighted to be able to bring Dylan to Livingston FC. I have seen Dylan play on numerous occasions this season and against ourselves with Alloa and he really caught my eye.
“He is a proven goalscorer in the development league where he netted 18 goals for Motherwell and in League 1 with Alloa where he scored 4 goals for them, including 1 against us. He is a big physical player who has just turned 20 in January and I feel we can really help develop Dylan at Livingston.
“His link-up play is fantastic and he is a real threat in the air and he can score goals with his head and either foot. I’m really pleased that we were able to sign Dylan as I know that there was a contract offer on the table from a Premiership club, and it speaks volumes for the lad that he has chosen Livingston as I know he had a better contract financially elsewhere.
“Again I would like to thank the board for their work behind the scenes which helped me get Dylan signed up. The squad is really shaping-up and hopefully over the next few weeks, I will be able to bring a few more players on board to help us in our return to the Championship.
“I would like to thank the fans who have renewed their season tickets to date and hopefully we will see more fans, old and new will give their support to the club for the season 2017-18.”
