Carrick in Blue Brazil switch
The club has agreed to allow Dale Carrick to go out on loan for the remainder of the season to League 2 side Cowdenbeath.
Manager David Hopkin said the striker had asked if it was possible to go out on loan to the Fifers. “I wasn’t going to stand in Dale’s way if it meant he was getting 90 minutes every week” he said.
“There is a release clause inserted which we can trigger and bring him back if needed. So it makes sense from everyone’s perspective.
“The form of Danny & Bucks has limited Dale’s game time this season. I am keen to keep him for next season and think it benefits both parties if he can go out and get as much game time as possible.
“We have brought Nikolay in who will provide competition up top and is a totally different forward to what we have at the club. So it was felt that Dale going out on loan would not hamper our promotion push.”
