Big Toddy’s back!
We’re thrilled to confirm the return of striker Nikolay Todorov to the Tony Macaroni Arena on a season long loan deal from Heart of Midlothian FC.
Manager David Hopkin said “we’re all delighted to welcome back Niko to Livi, having managed to secure his services on a season long loan deal. I don’t need to go into to much detail regarding Niko as all our fans will know what he can bring to the team.
“He scored 4 vital goals for us last season and I’m sure he will score a few more this season in the Championship. Over the summer Niko has been capped at U21 level by Bulgaria, playing against Georgia & Greece and we were all delighted for him. I’m really looking forward to watching Niko play in the Championship.
“The squad is coming together nicely and I have one or two potential deals nearing fruition, and if we can pull them off I will be delighted. So hopefully over the next 7 -10 days we shall have more players news for our fans.
“The boys have been back in for a week now and I’m really happy with their progress and their obvious efforts to stay in shape over the summer which has been reflected in training this week.”
