Blues News: Cameron signs up
Livingston FC is happy to announce the signing of young midfielder Cameron Blues from Falkirk on a 2 year contract.
Acting Manager David Martindale said “I was alerted to the possibility that Cameron may become available at the tail end of last season.
“He is a young player I was always aware of and had heard good things about. I started to do some deeper research on Cameron and it all came back very positive. All the boxes were ticked and I said to the lad’s agent that if Cameron became available, I would be very interested.
“I know Cameron had a few options and I’m delighted he has chosen Livingston to advance his career. He is a dynamic midfielder who can do a job wide or central, but predominantly a central midfielder.
“Between Falkirk and a loan deal at Edinburgh City last season, Cameron has 20 odd senior games under his belt.
“I have given him a 2 year deal to allow time to develop and possibly the option of putting him out on loan if needed, but I have no doubt that over the next few seasons the fans will get the chance to see the best of Cameron in a Livingston shirt.
“He fits into the the ethos at the club of young, hungry, talented players who have the ability and desire to play for Livingston FC.
“It’s essential we have a pipeline of talent at a good age and ability, that has been around the club and has learned from the senior players and understand what is required to pull on a Livi shirt on a weekly basis.
“We have a fantastic group of players at the club and I’m sure Cameron will add to that.”
