Goalkeeper Brian Schwake has today joined League 2 side Edinburgh City on a season-long-loan for the 2021/22 campaign.

The 19-year old American joined us from DePaul University in Chicago at the start of last year, having graduated from Prospect High School and spent most of last season on-loan at East Of Scotland side Linlithgow Rose before the shutdown of the lower leagues kicked in.

Brian signed a 2-year contract extension back in March and manager David Martindale said that getting him out on loan this season was crucial in helping to aid his development.

The youngster will now team up with Gary Naysmith at Edinburgh City, with the club having the option to recall the goalkeeper in the January window.
