Bucket Collection for West Lothian Schools Pipe Band
We’re delighted to welcome West Lothian Schools Pipe Band to the Tony Macaroni Arena tonight where they’ll perform on pitch at half-time as well as holding a bucket collection by the turnstiles before the game.
West Lothian Schools Pipe Band were formed in 2007 and presently have a Senior, a Novice and a Development band.
The band competes at various competitions throughout the season, including the RSPBA Major Competitions, as well as performing at some community events and have performed on stage with Skerryvore on a few occasions.
The senior band placed 2nd in their grade at The World Pipe Band Championships again this year.
Pipers and drummers attend various schools across West Lothian, meeting every week for band practice. The group fundraise to pay for transport to competitions, uniform and equipment to ensure there are no barriers to participation.
