We’re delighted to announce the signing of midfielder Cammy MacPherson on a one-year deal, subject to usual SFA approvals.

The 27-year-old joins the Lions after featuring as a trialist in Tuesday night’s Premier Sports Cup victory over Forfar Athletic, where he impressed the coaching staff with an assured performance in midfield before putting pen to paper on a deal until the summer of 2027.

A product of the St. Mirren Academy, MacPherson progressed through the youth ranks to establish himself in the first team. During his time in Paisley, he gained valuable experience in the Scottish Premiership before making the move to fellow top-flight side St Johnstone, where he continued to add to his Premiership appearances and further strengthen his reputation as a composed and hard-working midfielder. Cammy joins from Greenock Morton where he spent the 2025/26 season and will wear the number 15 shirt for the Lions.

Comfortable in a variety of midfield roles, Cammy brings significant top-flight experience, technical quality and energy to Glenn Whelan’s squad as we continue to prepare for the 2026/27 Championship campaign.
