At a disciplinary hearing held today with a sub-committee of the SPFL Board, Livingston Football Club plead guilty to a breach of the Regulations of the SPFL Challenge Cup Competition by fielding an ineligible player against Crusaders FC.

As a result, the club was censured, ordered to replay the game against Crusaders FC and fined £4,000.

Livingston FC has accepted the SPFL’s decision and feel this is a fair outcome.

The Board, Operational Committee and Management team apologise for what was a genuine misinterpretation of the rules and thank our loyal fans for their continued support.

The replay has been arranged for Tuesday 1st November with a 7.45pm kick-off at Seaview Stadium, Belfast.
