David Martindale named Glen’s Vodka Championship Manager of the Month for February 2025
We’re delighted to announce that men’s first-team manager David Martindale has been named as Glen’s Vodka Championship Manager of the Month for February 2025, his second such award of the season.
January ended with victory away to Falkirk, with February carrying on successfully with SPFL Trust Trophy and Scottish Gas Scottish Cup victories over Dunfermline Athletic and Cove Rangers respectively. A draw in the league at home to Dunfermline was then followed up by another two wins against Ayr United and Greenock Morton before ending the month with a hard fought point away to Partick Thistle last Friday night.
On receiving the award, the manager said: “It’s testament to all the staff and players at the football club – the on field success is a collective effort and it really is a group achievement. There have been some very big games over the last month and the staff and players have managed to come out on the right side of the results and everyone in the building plays a huge part in that.
“My name goes on the trophy but it is the group that deserve all the credit. It’s always about the we and it’s the we who deserve the credit.”
