David Martindale named Glen’s Vodka Championship Manager of the Month for November 2024
We’re delighted to announce that men’s first-team manager David Martindale has been named as Glen’s Vodka Championship Manager of the Month for November 2024.
A 1-1 draw at home to Queen’s Park was followed up with back-to-back league wins over Hamilton Academical and league leaders Falkirk, as well as SPFL Trust Trophy and Scottish Gas Scottish Cup victories over Greenock Morton and Brora Rangers respectively.
On receiving the award, the manager said: “This award is 100% a collective effort from everyone at the club & not just the coaching staff.
“We all had a huge job on our hands on the back of the disappointing season last year, and this award is just testament to everyone at the club to show that we are going in the right direction.
“In all honesty the guys in the boardroom are more deserving of this award than me. Huge credit to Dave Black and both John Ward & John McIlvogue who have all laid the foundation that has allowed myself and my staff to build a competitive squad.”
