Fan Behaviour
Following on from Wednesday night’s game with Dundee United, Livingston FC would like to remind supporters that unacceptable behaviour from the stands will not be tolerated in any form by the club.
Unfortunately, there were a number of unsavoury incidents in midweek which followed suit to similar issues experienced already over the course of the season.
While first and foremost we want all in attendance to enjoy the experience of supporting the team on the park, particularly at the minute with the team doing so well, the club has to ensure this is done whilst adhering to the rules and regulations of the Tony Macaroni Arena.
We would like to remind supporters that any form of unacceptable conduct can allow the SPFL to bring disciplinary proceedings against the club and whilst your support over recent months has been hugely appreciated by everyone, we kindly ask you to support the team in an acceptable manner.
Recently we have seen an increasing number of young supporters attending games, which is of course great to see and hugely appreciated, however we would ask parents and carers to remind youngsters attending the game with their friends to do so whilst sticking to the rules in place.
As manager David Martindale has alluded to in recent interviews, the increase in support and brilliant vocal backing that you’ve all offered in recent weeks has provided a huge lift to all players and staff and we desperately want that to continue as we head in to these 4 huge pre-split games but we simply ask that you all do this in a safe and positive manner.
