Forfar Athletic U20 2-4 Livingston U20
Iain Little’s charges overcome table-topping Forfar Athletic on their own turf with a fine performance after the disappointment of last week.
Forfar controlled the opening stages of the match before the young Lions managed to get a foothold and began to turn the tide of the game.
Ryan Currie opened the scoring after 17 minutes following a mazy run into the opposition box before slamming the ball low and hard under the keeper
Sustained Livi pressure then lead to Dale Carrick slotting home 17 minutes later aftera fantastic run by Jack Ogilvie.
And with the second half barely 13 minutes old, Carrick found the net again, this time with a powerful low drive from outside the area which gave Loons keeper Shaw no chance.
Jordan Sinclair made it 4-0 with a low drive before Kerr Hay pulled one back for Forfar, closely followed by a tap-in from a deflected free kick by Max Avolio.
But despite this late fightback Livi held on for an excellent win against a strong Fordar side.
