Hamilton Academical match preview
This Saturday, we will be making the short trip to New Douglas Park to face Hamilton in a 2nd vs 6th encounter.
We are coming into this one off the back of a 1-1 draw at home to Queen’s Park. We are looking to maintain our strong away form in the league, with three draws, two wins and only loss. Despite last weekend’s draw, we still showed glimmers of hope as we managed to create many chances, but we will be aiming to be more clinical this weekend.
After a tough start to the season, Hamilton seemed to have picked up and are coming into this game off the back of an impressive 4-0 away win against Airdrie. They have scored 8 goals in their last 5 games, and they will be looking to continue that goal scoring run.
The key men for us are Scott Pittman, who won the October Player of the Month. He will be looking to add to his goal tally and keep up his good form. Stevie May will be another key player for us in this game. Grabbing another goal at the weekend.
In the last five meetings between the two sides, Livingston have had the upper hand by winning 3 of the 5 games. The last encounter saw an impressive 3-0 win for the Lions in the league in September. Hamilton and Livingston have not drawn any of their last 6 matches against each other.
