Jackson Longridge joins Cove Rangers on loan
Defender Jackson Longridge has joined cinch Championship side Cove Rangers on loan until the end of the 2022/23 season.
The 27-year-old will team up with Paul Hartley’s men ahead of their clash at home to Dundee this weekend as they look to steer clear of the relegation play-off zone.
Manager David Martindale said: “Jacko had expressed his desire to look for an opportunity to go out on loan and whilst I didn’t want to lose him from the squad, I would never want to stand in a players way to go out and play regular football.
“Jacko brings a lot to the changing room and the group of players even when he isn’t playing, making him a real valuable member of the squad and like I say, whilst not wanting to lose him, allowing Jacko to go out and play is the best thing for him so I’ve regrettably agreed to let him join Cove on loan for the remainder of the season.”
Good luck, Jacko!
