Joel Nouble the latest new addition for the Lions
Livingston FC is pleased to announce the signing of striker Joel Nouble from English National League side Aldershot Town.
The 25-year-old joins on a 2-year deal, with the club having the option of a third year and will immediately follow in the footsteps of teammate Harrison Clark, joining Championship side Arbroath on a season-long-loan for the 2021/22 campaign.
The frontman started out in the youth ranks at both Chelsea and Millwall before signing for Dagenham and Redbridge in 2011 at the age of 15. Joel would go on to have a number of loan spells in his early career before moving to Bishop’s Stortford in 2016 in the National League South.
This was followed by moves to Grays Athletic, Thurrock and Haringey Borough all in the Isthmian League Premier Division before stepping up to National League South with Concord Rangers in 2019/20 and then Aldershot in the National League last season.
In 2018, the striker made his international debut for Cascadia at the 2018 ConIFA World Cup, scoring twice in a 6-0 win over Tamil Eelam.
Joel will be registered as number 19 for the Lions, with the club having the option recall the striker in the January window.
Manager David Martindale said: “I’m delighted to bring Joel in to the club. He is at a good age and has very good attributes that have shone through in training.
“I think getting him in full-time with ourselves on a daily basis while playing football in the Championship with Arbroath will be massively beneficial to both parties.
“He can play on the left hand side or through the middle and will bring a different dynamic to our front line when he returns.”
Welcome to Livingston, Joel!
