Jordan Doherty joins!

We’re delighted to announce the signing of Jordan Doherty on a pre-contract from Raith Rovers, subject to the usual SFA approvals.
The versatile 25-year-old arrives in West Lothian following an impressive spell with Raith Rovers and brings added strength, athleticism and flexibility to the squad ahead of the new season.
Capable of operating both in defence and midfield, Doherty has built up a varied career across Scotland, Ireland and the United States. Born in Balbriggan, North Dublin, the former Republic of Ireland Under-19 international came through the youth setup at Sheffield United before beginning his senior career.
His first taste of senior football came during a loan spell with American side Tampa Bay Rowdies in 2019, before making the move permanent the following year. Doherty would go on to establish himself as a regular in the USL Championship, making over 140 appearances across two spells with the club.
A return to Europe followed in 2022 with Irish side Bohemians, where he continued his development before heading back to Tampa Bay Rowdies in 2023. Most recently, Doherty joined Raith Rovers in January 2025, impressing with his composure, versatility and physical presence. Jordan played against us during the 2024-25 Championship season, featuring during a 0-0 draw here in Livingston.
Joining predominantly as an attack-minded right back, Doherty’s adaptability and experience across different leagues and styles of football will provide a valuable addition to the squad ahead of the Championship campaign.
Welcome to West Lothian, Jordan!
