Josh heads out on loan
Livingston FC would like to announce the loan move of striker Josh Peters back to Forfar Athletic until January 2018.
Manager David Hopkin said “I’m delighted Forfar have agreed to take Josh back for their assault on League 1 this season. He obviously knows Forfar very well from his time there last season while scoring 17 goals.
“It’s a step up for Josh having played league 2 last season. We were going to struggle to give him game time this season, so it made sense to get the lad out playing football. Josh is a very exciting young talent and there is no doubt in my mind that he will come back and provide competition for the strikers we already have at the club.
“Josh will continue to train with Livingston on a full time basis thus helping continue his development while playing on a Saturday for Forfar Athletic.
“I’m sure the Josh will go to Station Park and do well – hopefully scoring goals in the process. It’s a great move for all parties as Josh will get invaluable game time on a Saturday; Forfar will get a striker they know well who has and will be training full time; and we can be happy that Josh is continuing his development in a League that will prove harder than his previous season.”
