Josh Peters signs up
Another new face arrived at the Tony Macaroni Arena today in the shape of striker Josh Peters.
The 20-year-old Highlander comes to us from Forfar Athletic, having netted 17 times in 28 outings for the League One side, and has an eye on bagging a few more in this season’s Championship.
“I’ve been watching Josh for some time“ said manager David Hopkin. “He has a nose for goal and has already proved his worth at Forfar.
“Josh has done extremely well since his humble beginnings in the Strathspey & Badenoch Welfare League, then progressed further on stepping up to the Highland League with Strathspey Thistle. His natural ability obviously attracted SPFL interest from there.
“He’s going to be a real addition to our squad and I’m hopeful he’ll be fully Championship ready after acclimatising to the step up from the lower leagues.”
