Lars Lokotsch and Julien Serrano join the Lions
Livingston FC are delighted to announce the signing of striker Lars Lokotsch and defender Julien Serrano.
Julien joins on a season-long loan from Ligue 1 side AS Monaco whilst Lars has signed a 2-year-deal with the club having an option of a third year following his departure from German side, SV Rödinghausen.
22-year-old Serrano, born in Aix-en-Provence in the south of France, worked his way through the Monaco youth system, into the U19’s, the Monaco B side before making his first-team debut from the bench against Guingamp in April 2018. Since then, the defender has gone on to make 11 appearances for the Monaco first-team, including a French Champions Trophy appearance against PSG and a run out against Borussia Dortmund in the 2018-19 Champions’ League group stage.
Last season, Julien spent the year on-loan with Belgian top tier side Cercle Bruges before returning to Monaco in the Summer.
24-year-old Lokotsch has spent all of his career to date in Germany, starting out at FC Hennef U19’s before moving on to FV Bad Honnef, Oberpleis, Bonner SC, TV Herkenrath and most recently SV Rödinghausen.
4th tier SV Rödinghausen took on then Bundesliga side SC Paderborn in last season’s German Cup, drawing 3-3 before bowing out on penalties with Lars grabbing two late goals to bring his side back from 3-1 down and force spot-kicks. This was 2 of 7 goals in 25 appearances for the Regionalliga West side last season.
Julien will wear the number 12 shirt and Lars’ number is still to be confirmed as yet.
Both players go straight into the squad and will be available for Sunday’s clash at Pittodrie with Aberdeen.
Welcome to Livingston, gents!
