Lions duo go out on loan
Livingston FC is delighted to announce that Jack Hamilton and Henk van Schaik have agreed loan deals with Alloa Athletic and Dumbarton respectively.
Manager Gary Holt said “Davie and I both felt that the two lads needed as much game time as possible at the highest level possible.
“Alloa and Dumbarton will put demands on Jack and Henk, and this will help their development going forward. Jim Goodwin and Jim Duffy are highly respected managers and I’m sure both will get the best out both lads and make them better players.
“Jack has gained a lot of first team exposure, albeit his game time has been limited. He can only get better playing first team football, and Alloa will provide him with that platform in the short term.
“Henk on the other hand has been on the fringes, and with the quality of the lads at the club he would find his game time opportunities very limited. So it makes perfect sense to send him out to get some valuable match experience in a very competitive league under his belt.
“Jack & Henk will no doubt come back pushing for a 1st team place in the summer.”
