Loan Report
Here’s a look back at how our loanees got on across the weekend.
Joel Nouble
A brilliant performance from frontman Joel Nouble on Saturday as he helped steer Arbroath to a terrific 3-1 win at home to Partick Thistle. A constant nuisance all game, Joel was a handful for the Thistle back line, assisting the Red Lichties second goal as they came from behind to pick up all three point.
Matej Poplatnik
It wasn’t to be for Matej and Raith Rovers on Friday night after their game at home to Dunfermline was abandoned due to power failure. The game started despite the floodlights failing before the game but the match commander called time on the tie after just a quarter of an hour with the issue unable to be resolved adequately.
Brian Schwake
It was another start for Brian as Edinburgh City travelled to take on league leaders Kelty Hearts, but a second-half goal from Kelty attacked Jamie Barjonas would be the difference between the sides as the League 2 new boys remained top of the pile.
Josh Mullin
It was a first start for Josh Mullin at Hamilton but it would be former team-mate Scott Robinson who would ruin his day, scoring twice in the second-half to seal a 2-0 win for Kilmarnock in Hamilton.
*Carlo Pignatiello and Harrison Clark weren’t involved for Dumbarton or Arbroath at the weekend.
