Loan Round-Up – Sunday 20 December 2020
Here’s this week’s loan round-up after another busy weekend for our loan players.
Robbie Crawford
Robbie started for Motherwell as the Fir Park men ran Rangers close at Ibrox. ‘Well took a first-half lead before three goals in the final 17 minutes meant all three points stayed in Glasgow. Robbie was replaced with 5 minutes remaining by Devante Cole with score at 2-1.
Raffa De Vita
Raffa was a substitute as Edinburgh City lost 3-2 at home to Stirling Albion. City found themselves 3-0 down at the break, with Raffa introduced at half-time. He helped the hosts get back to within a goal of Stirling but an equaliser didn’t come and the Binos moved 5 points ahead of Edinburgh.
Jack Hamilton
Another weekend, another game and of course, another goal for Jack Hamilton as he opened the scoring in a 2-0 win for East Fife at home to Forfar. That makes it 8 goals in 12 games for striker – 6 in 8 league appearances as the Fifers moved 5 clear of bottom place.
Salim Kouider-Aïssa
Salim wasn’t in the Partick Thistle squad due to injury as the Firhill side lost 1-0 at home to Peterhead, dropping to third place in the League One table.
Lars Lokotsch
There was no game for Lars and Raith Rovers this weekend as they were scheduled to take on Hearts who instead take on Celtic in the 2019/20 Scottish Cup final.
Brian Schwake
Another win between the sticks for Brian as Linlithgow Rose beat Whitehill Welfare 3-2 in East of Scotland Premier Division. The Rose remain third in the table, 6 points behind leaders Tranent but with a game in hand.
Ross Stewart
Ross was an unused substitute as Hearts narrowly lost out in the 2019/20 Scottish Cup final, eventually going down on penalties after a 2-2 draw after 90 minutes and 3-3 after extra-time.
