Loan Round-Up – Sunday 27 December 2020
Here’s this week’s loan round-up after another busy weekend for our loan players.
Robbie Crawford
Robbie started for Motherwell as the Fir Park men picked up a point away to Dundee United. The Steelmen had lead 1-0 when Crawford was replaced on 80 minutes, only for Nicky Clark to score a 90th minute equaliser to ensure the spoils were shared.
Raffa De Vita
It was Scottish Cup action for Edinburgh City and Raffa De Vita started, playing 87 minutes in a 3-1 win for the Citizens as they booked their place in the 2nd round with a win over East of Scotland side, Caledonian Braves.
Jack Hamilton
Jack wasn’t in action this weekend as East Fife’s game away to Dumbarton was postponed.
Salim Kouider-Aïssa
Salim wasn’t in the Partick Thistle squad due to injury as the Firhill side drew 0-0 away to Falkirk, dropping to fifth place in the League One table.
Lars Lokotsch
Lars grabbed his first goal for Raith Rovers as the Kirkcaldy side ran out 5-2 winners away to Alloa Athletic. Raith had lead 2-0 before former Lion Liam Buchanan pulled a goal back for the Wasps in the 75th minute but Lars restored the 2 goal cushion on 84 minutes, only for Buchanan to make it 3-2 going into injury-time but an Ethan Ross double meant a 5-2 success for the Starks Park men.
Brian Schwake
It was also Scottish Cup action for Brian and Linlithgow at the weekend, with the Rose pulling off the shock of the round, coming back from behind away to League 2 side Brechin City to win 3-2 and book their place in the 2nd round. Linlithgow will find out their next round opponent on Monday night.
Ross Stewart
Ross was an unused substitute as Hearts won 5-3 at home to Ayr United to maintain their place at the top of the Championship.
