Goalkeeper Marcelo Pitaluga has been recalled by parent club Liverpool FC.

The Brazilian stopper will return to his homeland, with top tier side Fluminense, his former club, on a permanent transfer.

Marcelo featured twice for the Lions, with both appearances coming in the SPFL Trust Trophy, helping us reach the semi-final stage, particularly with a crucial save in a penalty shoot-out win against Inverness CT.

We thank Marcelo for his efforts whilst in West Lothian and of course, thank Liverpool Football Club for their help in loaning Marcelo to us in the summer.
