Miles Welch-Hayes joins Dunfermline on loan.
Defender Miles Welch-Hayes has today joined Championship side Dunfermline Athletic on-loan until the end of the 2023-24 season.
The 27-year-old joined from EFL League 2 side Harrogate Town in the Summer but a string of injuries has meant he’s only managed three appearances for the Lions so far.
The East End Park outfit, managed by former Lion James McPake, currently sit 9th in the Championship, 6 points above bottom-place Arbroath, and travel to Firhill tomorrow night to take on Partick Thistle live on BBC Scotland.
Men’s First-Team Manager David Martindale said: “It hasn’t quite clicked for Miles so far this season, with a couple of niggly injuries having stopped him from gaining much momentum.
“He’s at a stage now where he needs to be playing football to get that fitness and consistency back and hopefully he’ll be able to do that with James at Dunfermline until the end of the season.”
