New U20 management team installed
We’re delighted to confirm our U20 Development squad will now fall under the combined leadership of Steve Pittman and Derek McWilliams.
Steve should be a familiar name to Livi fans, as he’s none other than Scott Pittman’s dad! He comes with a superb footballing pedigree, and can count the likes of Dundee, Partick Thistle and a host of American sides on his impressive CV. He also featured 3 time for the US national side.
Derek is similarly no stranger to the senior game, having pulled on the shirts of Hibernian, Partick Thistle, Dundee and Falkirk plus several others during his 19 year career.
Manager David Hopkins was particularly enthusiastic about his latest additions to the coaching team. “I’m delighted that Steve and Derek have accepted their roles, particularly as both are local lads who have played at the top level.”
The duo take charge of tonight’s Development League match against Raith Rovers on the Fieldturf. Kick off is at 8:05pm.
