Partick Thistle match preview
This Friday, we will be traveling to Firhill Stadium to face Partick Thistle in a 2nd vs 4th encounter. Both teams come into this game from different perspectives in the last league games. We will be aiming to maintain our good away form.
We have been on a good run of form of late winning 4 out of our last 5 games and have overcome some challenging opponents. We come into this one off the back of a 3-2 home win over Greenock Morton. This Friday we are back on the road looking to grab a vital 3 points.
Partick Thistle come into this game after 1-1 a home draw with Airdrieonians. In their last 5 league matches they have 3 defeats and, 2 draws. They have scored 6 goals in their last 5 games, but they do have the joint top scorer in the Championship in their ranks in Brian Graham who has also taken on the role as interim manager.
One key man for us for this game will be Tete Yengi, who is on a great run of form at the moment. Robbie Muirhead also looks like he can’t stop scoring and creating for us. He is currently on an impressive run form and will be looking to add more numbers to his game this weekend.
In the last five meetings between the two sides, Livingston have had the upper hand winning 4 of the 5 games. The last encounter saw a 2-0 home win for the Lions in the league back in December. So, we will be looking to do the same at their ground. We are currently ranked 2nd in the most points picked up away from home, while Partick Thistle currently only 5th in home form. It will be a tricky test, but a win for the lions would see them go top of the league for the first time this season.
