This Saturday is an important fixture as Livingston FC faces Queen’s Park in a 3^rd vs 7^th game in the Scottish Championship at the Home of the Set Arena. Both teams approach this game from different perspectives: Livingston are looking to strengthen their promotion push and come back from a midweek loss. Queen’s Park aim to climb away from the relegation battle and bounce back from back-to-back 5 nil losses.

After a solid home performance last time out against Queen’s Park, Livingston will be eager to build on that momentum. Although recent results have been mixed, with only two wins in our last five games, we remain a strong force at home. In that period, we have scored nine goals and have kept three clean sheets.

Queen’s Park, come into this game after two back-to-back 5-nil losses. Recent results do not show good viewing for the visitors as they haven’t won in their last five games. Their away form remains a concern, having failed to win in their last three matches on the road. They have only scored 1 goal during that time and conceded 18 goals.

One of the key players to watch in this match is Robbie Muirhead who has been instrumental in this team and won Player of the Match in the Cup Final recently. With his creativity and work rate he will look to use that to create key opportunities and supply others with service.

In recent meetings between these two sides, Livingston have had the upper hand slightly, winning two of the last five encounters, with two draws and one loss that came in January.  The two sides recently met in the SPFL Trust Trophy Final, where the Lions secured a hard-fought victory to lift the trophy. That result will give us confidence heading into this match, while Queens Park will be eager to get revenge.
