Reserve Challenge Cup Final
The Tony Macaroni Arena will play host to the Reserve Challenge Cup Final tomorrow night with our very own Reserve side taking on Airdrieonians second string.
Our own side reached the final by topping the East section comprising of East Stirlingshire, BSC Glasgow and Alloa Athletic with the Diamonds topping a 5 team, West section made up of Ayr United, East Kilbride, Queens Park and Albion Rovers.
This will be the second season in a row our reserve side will have made the final, having gone down 3-0 to Ayr United at the Tony Macaroni last year.
The game will kick-off at 7.30pm with admission prices set at £5 for over 16’s and £2 for under 16’s. Entry to the game will be via the East Stand turnstiles (to the rear of the stadium). The serveries will be open too, so with the current freezing weather expected to continue, you’ll be able to keep warm with a pie and bovril.
With no scheduled game for the first-team this weekend, there is likely to be a few familiar faces in the squad for this one so well worth getting along to cheer the boys on with some silverware at stake.
