Robby McCrorie called up to Scotland U21 Squad
Goalkeeper Robby McCrorie has been called up to Scot Gemmill Scotland Under 21 squad for next month’s Euro Qualifiers against Croatia and Greece.
The young squad will take on Croatia at Tynecastle on Thursday 12th November (3pm KO) before heading to Athens to take on Greece at Apostolos Nikolaidis on Tuesday 17th November (4pm KO).
It’s all to play for with Scotland currently sitting in 2nd place, one point behind group leaders Czech Republic who have played one more game. The U21 side beat Croatia 2-1 away from home at the end of last year but lost 1-0 at home to Greece.
Two wins from these games would see Scotland qualify for the tournament for the first-time since 1996.
Robby has been capped 7 times for the U21 side, working his way through the age groups having been capped at every level from U15’s. Of course, he’s also been recently included in the senior squad for the last two squads too.
