Scott Robinson wins Premiership Player of the Month award for January
Livingston FC is absolutely delighted to announce that Scott Robinson has been named as the Scottish Premiership Player of the Month for January 2021.
Scott featured in all seven of our fixtures throughout an unbeaten January, scoring 3 goals and assisting Josh Mullin in our opener in the 3-0 win at Easter Road which kicked the month off.
“Robbo” scored the third goal that afternoon too, as well as opening the scoring in a 3-1 home win against Ross County the following week before nodding home the only goal of the game against St Mirren at Hampden as the Lions booked a place in the Betfred Cup final at the end of this month.
Scott becomes only the 4th Livingston player to lift the award in the top flight after Marvin Andrews, Roddy McKenzie and Burton O’Brien, with Bobo the most recent in April 2005 – 16 years ago! Scott is also the first player to lift a league wide Player of the Month award for the club since back in February 2018 when Ryan Hardie won the Championship gong.
Well done, Robbo – hugely deserved!
