Stenhousemuir 0 – 3 Livingston
Livi’s pre-season campaign got under way in winning style this afternoon as an experimental side eased past Stenhousemuir at Ochilview.
The visitors went 1-0 up after 20 minutes when a neat reverse pass from new boy Liam Buchanan was driven into the net by a Trialist.
Ten minutes later it was 2-0 when some great skill from another new signing Ross Millen saw him deliver a pin-point cross to Buchanan. The striker was then able to cut back before firing low into corner for his first goal in a Livi shirt.
And only 8 minutes after that the Lions were 3-0 ahead when Millen also netted a début goal with a low drive from outside the area which beat the Warriors’ keeper at the bottom left.
It was all-change for Livi at half time as manager Mark Burchill continued to experiment with no fewer than 10 personnel changes, but there was to be no further scoring.
All-in-all a comfortable afternoon’s work for the new look Lions.
