From season 2015/16 to 2019/20 inclusive, the League title sponsor held the contractual right to place a mat over the entire on-pitch centre circle prior to kick-off at each League match selected for live TV coverage. The centre circle cover carried the League sponsor logo and was in place from stadium doors opening until kick-off. This offered prominent visibility for the brand to all spectators in attendance and through television coverage of live matches.

The SPFL Board have now agreed to reassign this right to clubs to be utilised by their own commercial partner or sponsor. The use of the centre circle cover is not limited to only live televised League matches and can be utilised at all home League matches during the season.

Last season alone, our three televised Premiership matches hit a total, global peak viewership of over 4.6 million with a total, global average of over 1.5 million. With an increase in games being shown live on Sky Sports this season coupled with the introduction of live streaming of all home games whilst we’re playing behind closed doors, the level of exposure for your company through this sponsorship is like never before.

With your company logo or design of your choice featuring on the centre circle cover before all* homes games in the 2020/21 season, the package also includes the following –

• 2 x Standard adult match tickets for every home league game.
• Half-page programme advert in the matchday programme.
• Company Logo featured on official club website (with link to your website).
• Exclusive official website story at point of confirmation.
• Your logo featured on all club social media channels at point of confirmation.

Price for 2020/21 season: £7,000 (plus VAT).

(*due to the continuing agreement with Betfred, the right to have a Betfred Cup branded centre circle at matches in that competition selected for live TV coverage will be retained)

As well as the exposure above, your logo will also feature on our media room back-drop meaning it will be broadcast on our own, in-house media – including a brand new club TV Subscription service that we’re aiming to launch ahead of the new campaign.
