We’re delighted to announce that winger Tyrese Sinclair has signed a pre-contract agreement which will see him join us from York City on the expiry of his current contract, becoming the second addition of the summer transfer window.

The 25-year-old arrives after an impressive spell with York City, where he established himself as an exciting, dynamic attacking option. Known for his pace, direct running, and eye for goal, Sinclair has been a consistent threat in the final third and adds to our attacking options ahead of the new campaign.

Sinclair began his career in the youth system at Blackburn Rovers before gaining valuable experience through spells in the English leagues with Mansfield Town, Scunthorpe United, Rochdale and Altrincham before joining York City in 2024, where he went on to make 59 appearances. A loan spell at Solihull Moors last season between October and December was followed up with a further loan spell for the second half of the season with Hartlepool, where Tyrese scored 5 times in 15 appearances, including a final day double in a 4-3 win against Southend.

Sinclair will officially join the club upon on an initial 2-year-deal, with the club having an option of a further year, on the expiry of his contract with York City and will link up with his new teammates ahead of pre-season preparations in June.
