Young Lion Craig steps-up
Promotion from the youth ranks continued today as another young Lion stepped up into the senior squad.
Craig Henderson, who turned 16 in March this season, previously had spells at Dunfermline, Hibs and Hearts before joining our Under 17s this summer.
Manager David Hopkin said: “I have had glowing reports about Craig’s progress with the 17’s and 20’s this season, so we invited him in for some full-time training and I have been very impressed with him.
“The club offered Craig a full-time contract and I’m delighted he has accepted. Craig has been on the 1st team bench a few times this season, but he will continue his development with the under 17’s and the under 20’s teams.
“If he continues to impress I have no doubt Craig could make his 1st team debut this season at some point.”
