Change of Heart for Nikolay Todorov
Livingston FC can this evening confirm the loan signing of Nikolay Todorov from Premiership side Heart of Midlothian.
Bulgarian centre forward Nickolay was previously on loan at Cowdenbeath but was utilised as a centre half due to an injury crisis at Central Park. He will perform in his natural striker’s role here.
Manager David Hopkin said “Nikolay will give us a different option up top, he will be an asset in both boxes for the team. He is a big, strong, powerful player and very good in the air; good with both feet and knows where the goal is.
“I would like to thank Hearts for allowing Nikolay to come to Livingston as we realise there was interest from other Championship and League 1 clubs for him.”
Nikolay will wear the number 22 shirt and will be available for selection this Saturday.
In other news Keaghan Jacobs’ International Clearance has now been approved and he will also be available for selection on Saturday.
