Because one Holt wasn’t enough…
Livingston FC is delighted to announce the signing of 27-year-old midfielder Jason Holt on a two-year-deal following his release from Rangers.
Jason came through the Hearts youth academy, going on to make 70 appearances for the Jam Tarts as well as loan spells at Raith Rovers and Sheffield United during his time there.
In July 2015, Mark Warburton signed Holt for Rangers where he went on to make over 100 appearances for the Glasgow side.
The last two seasons have seen Jason move out on-loan, firstly to Fleetwood Town for the 2018/19 season where he played under former Rangers teammate Joey Barton before going on-loan to St Johnstone last season. In fact, his last appearance for the Saints came in their 1-0 win against us in our final game before lockdown set in.
Jason will wear the number 18 shirt for the season ahead.
We’ll have an exclusive interview with the midfielder over on LFC Live later today – make sure you’re subscribing in order to see it.
