Our Championship preparations stepped up a notch this morning with the confirmation of a second pre-season friendly.

We will welcome English Championship side Sunderland to the Tony Macaroni on Wednesday 12 July with a 7:45pm kick off.

This will be the second time the sides have met, with our previous encounter being at Sunderland’s hugely impressive Stadium of Light on 11 March last year.  That game saw the hosts run out 3-0 winners, so manager David Hopkin will be looking for a bit of revenge, as well as casting an eye over his charges.

Admission prices will be confirmed in due course.
