Brooklyn Kabongolo signs new deal until 2029

We’re delighted to announce that defender Brooklyn Kabongolo has signed a new contract with the club, keeping him at the Home of the Set Fare Arena until the summer of 2029.
The 23-year-old joined the Lions in July 2025, signing from English side Aveley after an impressive campaign in the National League South. Brooklyn made 34 appearances for the Millers during the 2024/25 season, scoring three goals, before making the move north to West Lothian.
A product of the Ipswich Town academy, the French-born centre-back also gained senior experience with Billericay Town, Southend United and Oxford City before joining Aveley.
Brooklyn made his debut for the club during pre-season last summer and quickly established himself within the first-team squad, making 21 appearances and scoring twice for the Lions to date.
His first season at the club also included a loan spell with Arbroath, where he enjoyed a productive period at Gayfield, making 13 appearances and finding the net three times, including a memorable brace in a 2-1 victory away to Dunfermline Athletic. At the end of December, we exercised the option to recall him Brooklyn, and he went straight into the squad for our 2026 opener at Tynecastle.
Since returning to the Lions, Brooklyn has continued to develop as part of the first-team squad and now commits his long-term future to Livingston. The new deal will see the defender remain with us until the summer of 2029, providing further continuity as we continue to build for the future.
Everyone at the club would like to congratulate Brooklyn on his new contract and wish him every success for the years ahead.
