Jack Hamilton heads for Arbroath loan spell
Striker Jack Hamilton has today completed a loan move to Championship side Arbroath FC.
Having spent the first-half of the season with East Fife, Jack will now head for Gayfield where he’ll join up with manager Dick Campbell for the remainder of the campaign.
David Martindale said: “I’m delighted that we have managed to get Jack out playing football in the Scottish Championship and especially with such an experienced manager in Dick Campbell.
“We brought Jack back from East Fife with a view to revisiting that arrangement in late January but with League One being suspended further and the opportunity to get Jack out playing in the Championship, we felt it was a no brainer.
“I feel we are more than covered in the number 9 position and Jack’s game time would be slightly limited with the options we have up top. Playing week-in week-out in the Scottish Championship will be huge in Jack’s development over the coming months and I know he’ll enjoy playing under Dick Campbell at Arbroath.”
Good luck, Jack!
