Liam Kelly returns
We are delighted to announce the transfer of Liam Kelly from Rangers FC on a 2 year deal for a undisclosed fee.
Caretaker Manager David Martindale said “When the chance to sign Liam became a possibility it was a no-brainier. Going into the Premiership we need a very strong squad and competition for places in all departments.
“Liam in the past has shown he has all the attributes to play at the top level, and I’m delighted he has chosen Livingston to continue his development.
“He’s a fantastic keeper and an exceptional professional and will add to the squad we are assembling here at the Tony Macaroni Arena greatly. His influence on and off the park will be huge for us next season.
“On a personal note I’m really looking forward to working with Liam again and helping him in his development.
Liam himself is equally enthusiastic at his return to West Lothian.
“Coming back to Livingston gives me a chance to work in an environment that delivers, and that’s something I just couldn’t turn down.
“I know the majority of the squad already from my previous spell, and the chance to be a part of that changing room again was something I jumped at.
“Knowing the platform the staff give you to perform every week is a huge part of why I’m here, and I can’t wait to get started.”
Meanwhile, Martindale remains busy in the quest to retain more players. “We are talking to all players involved in last season’s campaign and will hopefully have further announcements over the next 7-10 days on that front.”
