Livingston U20 3-3 Raith Rovers U20
Liam Watt pounced in injury time to save a vital point for the young Lions in tonight’s pulsating home encounter with Raith Rovers.
Dale Carrick slotted Livi into an 8th minute lead with a neat drive from 10 yards out, however a defensive mix-up allowed Yaw Osei to drill Rovers level from 6 yards despite frantic home shouts for offside. But Ryan Currie restore Livi’s lead 6 minutes before the interval to end the half 2-1 up.
Rovers levelled matters 12 minutes after the restart through a Ryan Stevenson drive from the edge of the box, and they looked to have stolen all three points when Andreas Thorsen nodded home at the back post with only 5 minutes remaining to put them 3-2 up.
However Watt’s last gasp header ensured Livi’s unbeaten run continued, and more importantly saved a valuable point.
