Brian was in action again this weekend as Linlithgow Rose recorded another fine 2-1 win at home, this time against Newtongrange Star. This sees the Rose rise to 5^th in the 18 team league, 9 point behind leaders Tranent but with 2 games in hand.

Ross Stewart

Ross was an unused substitute as Hearts exited the Betfred Cup, losing 1-0 in extra-time away to Alloa Athletic.
