More Montaño as Cris Confirmed!
Following the announcement that manager David Martindale will remain in charge for the season ahead, we’re delighted to announce that defender Cristian Montano has now put pen to paper on a new deal which will see him remain with the club for the upcoming campaign too.
The 32-year-old, who joined the Lions from Port Vale in 2021, was out of contract following the conclusion of the 2023/24 season but after discussions with the manager, has signed a new contract which would also see a further extension if the club gains promotion back to the top flight next summer.
Injuries have hampered parts of Cristian’s time in West Lothian, with the Columbian featuring 78 times over the last 3 seasons, scoring 7 times from that usual left-back position.
With 100 appearances for the club on the horizon, we’re delighted to have Cristian on board for 2024/25 season as squad continues to take shape.
