Player of the Year Awards 2019/20 – Saturday 6th June
Voting is now open as we look to crown our award winners for the 2019/20 season!
With the season concluded, we’d usually, in normal circumstances, be looking forward to an evening where fans, sponsors, players and staff alike come together to celebrate the season and acknowledge those players who’ve stood out over the course of the campaign.
Sadly, the current restrictions due to COVID-19 means that can’t happen. However, as is the case in all walks of life at the minute, we’re all having to adapt and look at other ways of doing things which means we’ll be carrying out this years Player of the Year awards on social media instead.
On Saturday 6th June from 7pm, we’ll be announcing all of our award winners one-by-one on Twitter and we’ll hear from each winner too. There will be 10 awards “presented” on the night –
- Supporters Player of the Year
- Supporters Young Player of the Year
- Players Player of the Year
- Players Young Player of the Year
- Directors & Coaching Staff Player of the Year
- Directors & Coaching Staff Young Player of the Year
- LiviLions Supporters Club Player of the Year
- LiviLions Supporters Club Young Player of the Year
- Goal of the Season
- Top Goal Scorer
As ever, we need you guys to send us in your votes for –
- Player of the Year
- Young Player of the Year (23 and under)
- Goal of the Season
There is a choice of 8 goals for Goal of the Season with all the contenders pulled together into a handy video so you can watch them all again before deciding on your winner. You can watch that video here –
Voting is open now and your votes should be sent by email to poty@livingstonfc.co.uk. Voting will remain open until 12pm on Thursday 4th June.
The awards are expected to run from 7pm until 8.30pm so get yourself settled in for the night, log-on to twitter and join us for our first ever virtual Player of the Year evening.
We’ll hopefully be able to host an evening down the line where you can all join us in person as we hand over the awards properly but we’ll keep you all updated on that as and when it looks feasible to do so.
For now though, get those votes sent in and we look forward to you all joining us on twitter on Saturday 6th June from 7pm.
