We’re delighted to announce that our Player of the Year awards evening for 2024-25, sponsored by Home of the Set Fare, will take place on Sunday 4th May at Macdonald Houston House, Uphall.

The evening will be hosted by our very own David Hastie, as 9 awards are distributed amongst the playing squad.

The running order for the night will be as follows –

Arrival – 6.30pm-7.00pm
Welcome – 7.00pm-7.15pm
Meal – 7.15pm-9pm
Special Guest Speaker – 9pm-9.30pm
Awards – 9.30pm-10.30pm
Raffle – 10.30pm-10.45pm
Music & Drinks – 10.45pm until midnight finish

Tickets are priced at just £65 each or £550 for a table of 10 and are on sale from club reception now. We expect this to sell out quickly so be sure to get yours early to avoid missing out. Please have a contact name, email address and number ready to provide as well as a note of any dietary requirements.

Our club reception opening times are as follows –

Monday-Thursday: 9am-4pm
Friday: 9am-1pm

The meal on the night will be –

Start – Potato & leek soup, chive crème Fraiche & herb oil
Main – Chicken breast stuffed with haggis served with a mustard cream sauce, , potatoes & seasonal vegetables
Vegetarian Main – Penne pasta with roasted provencal vegetables in a spicy tomato sauce
Dessert – Vanilla cheesecake, honeycomb & strawberry ice cream

Please advice when booking of any special dietary requirements.

Dress code for this event is smart casual and you must be 18 or over to attend.

Houston House are also offering a reduced bed and breakfast rate of £95 for a double room on the evening if anyone would be looking to stay. They have 30 rooms available and anyone looking to book in should contact andrew.boe@macdonald-hotels.co.uk
